What they call a tutorial could pass for a TV AD. USELESS! Lack of clear instructions is appealing. Im sure the person that designed the artwork and layout is very proud but for the visually impaired its almost unreadable Whit on white? What were you thinking? I had high hopes...
App appears to not recognize the iklips( I have last years one). The old app was limited but at least it worked. Please fix. Please send an update notifying is that you are aware of the problem. Thank you
I updated yesterday and now cannot see any of my files when inserting the iKlip. I contacted tech support yesterday but no response. I recommend not upgrading.
I am unable to move any data off the iklips and it has extremely limited functionality!!!

This has improved a lot, and I hope it keeps doing so because the nice little drive it supports isnt only as good as its software. Hat tip to the developer for paying attention to user feedback. Old review: I still miss multiple selection of files as well as thumbnail images. Without this function, backups are not easy. At the same time, however, the developer has improved the app considerably in a short span of time, making it easier (if not always obvious how) to get files from the iKlips drive to the iPhone, though not, it seems, in reverse. Except for photos and videos on the camera roll, which can be moved onto the drive. (Maybe Pages, etc. too. Havent tried that out.) I hope this improvement continues. I also hope the developer removes the intrusive logo from my iPhone screen. Its not necessary anyway because the app is only for iKlips anyway.
After watching video the app crash !! Fix the crash please
The device is great, the app is bad. The device does not fit external cases, but has usb 3 support and in general feels very fast, recommended. The app is very buggy, crashes a lot. The app plays video well, but try change brightness with the control panel and it exits to home screen instead, also happens when you finish a video. Files are also not sorted so hard to find anything. I emailed support over a week ago, no reply. Until the software works I would not recommend this device.
So far everything seems to work great, I havent had any issues with the app or the iKlips. Transfer were really quick on my iPhone 6 Plus, iPad 4 and iPod touch 6G. For all those people who have complained about the app not working and crashing. You should delete the app and re-install it back to your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. When you do the update with old bugs within the app, the bugs carry over and will be on every update until you delete/re-install the app. This will not effect whats on your iKlips or your files.

only issue is that you can only copy photos one by one back on to you iphone, if you could add check boxes and then allow the share>save images show up and save all the selected to your iphones photos. would save a lot of time and make the device & app perfect. thanks!
There is no way I can transfer my movies like the avengers batman etc, I did transfer my photos and videos but it wont let me do as advertised which is my movies cant be transferred to my iklips unless somebody here can tell me that there is a way ,that would be must appreciated
This flash drive and app are a waste of time and money! The few times it worked for me, file transfer was very slow. I tried the app on my phone and iPad and 80% of the time it crashed when I was trying to view or transfer a PDF to another app. The camera function makes the app crash most of the time. I reinstalled the app on both iPad and iPhone and I experienced the same issues. I emailed the company twice and received no response. I will be returning the flash drive.

Lousy application mars what would otherwise be a great device. The iKlips device hangs off the Lightning port on your iPhone or iPad - the natural tendency is to view movies and most photos with the iPad sitting horizontally - bizarrely the application doesnt support horizontal mode - the "explorer" view only operates vertically. Using on an iPad Pro, but do not believe it to be specific to this model. Additionally, when you interrupt a movie that is playing (e.g. Switching to another app, brining up the control panel to adjust brightness) the movie stops and only allows you to start from the beginning of the file - no auto resume. I put a message into their support team on the lack of horizontal mode several weeks ago but did not hear back from them. If they would fix those 2 issues it would drastically improve the user experience. Havent used it much apart to play movies so cant attest to any other issues.
I only recently acquired the iKlips storage device and this app. I need to use it on my iPad Pro, and I use the iPad only in Landscape mode. This app will not rotate to Landscape which make managing my stored clips very difficult. App Designer, please update this app.
